My First Doll Post!!

Hello, Tamara made a project using the new Ellie with Heart Cupcake.  She used distress markers to color the image and pion paper for book template by Dutch Doobadoo..  Flowers by I Am Roses are used for the embellishments.  Beautiful work.  You can see more of her creations at http://www.handmadebytamara.com/.

Love Struck Emma

Hello my friends, Happy Friday!!! The weekend is almost here and its time to get crafty.   Racquel here, and today I am sharing a card using the new Love Struck Emma . I love creating projects for Valentines and  Love Struck Emma  was released in the shop at the perfect time.  

I have a lot of valentines paper that I accumulated over the years and decided to pull some of it out to create this card.  I colored love struck emma using copics with the colors listed below.  I die cut two stitched hearts and added them to the card.  I found a burlap heart in my stash and thought it would be perfect for this card.  I added some flowers from wild orchid crafts and the sentiment is from some die cuts I had in my stash.     

 

Copic Colors used:

Skin: E13, 11, 00, 000

Hair: E18, 15, YR23, Y11

Red: R46, 35, 24

White: C3, 1, 0

Black Spica Pen

White Gel Pen

Traveling Ellie

Hello there! I have a card to share with you today using the sweet Traveling Ellie image. 

This image makes me smile. She looks so happy and ready for an adventure. I imagined her walking on a trail through the woods with her little pack. I happened to have some fake branches and real pine cones on hand, which made perfect embellishments for this card. 

I colored Traveling Ellie with Copic markers,

Love is in the Air

Happy Sunday crafty friends!!!  Racquel here to share a card using one of the images from the new  release Love Letter Avery. There are two versions of  this cutie in the store.  Love Letter Avery comes with the polka dots or stripes on her dress.  I love the polka dots on her dress.  I am gearing up for Valentines and this cutie is a perfect image to create some Valentines projects. I printed the image out on copic x-press it blend card stock and colored her using my copics.  Since she is holding a love letter, I decided to add a mailbox to the card.  Ms. Avery is sending her letter to her valentines💖.   I love the way this card turned out and the recipient will love it too.

Pink: R85, 83, 81

Red: R37, 35

Hello, today our guest Susan Srb made a card using Hugs & Kisses Emma.  The stamp image is beautifully colored in distress ink markers with a backdrop of fantastic embellishments.  The flowers perfectly complement the colors in the stamp image, and the die cuts are perfect for the theme.  You can see this and more of her creations by clicking HERE.

Love Letter Avery Valentine's Day Card

Good morning Paper Nest Doll lovers! I hope your year is off to a great start. Mine sure is! Anyhoo, it's inspiration time! I am sharing a card I made with the new release Love Letter Avery. 

She's just adorable, isn't she?!? You can purchase her from the Paper Nest Dolls Shopify. When you see her in the store, she has a dress with polka dots. The super excited thing is...you get her with stripes too! Thank you Christine! 

I colored Love Letter Avery with Copic markers and then cut her out with my brand new brother Scan N Cut 2! I squealed with delight when I got this Christmas gift! I love it! No more fussy cutting for me! 

When I first started this card, my mojo was on vacation. It took three days of looking at the image and the card stock base before I was able to put it together. I have to say, I love how it turned out. Especially for having such a rough start.
