Birthday Princess Ellie by Sai

Hello crafty dolls! It’s Sai here.

To share with you today is the colorful birthday card I created for The Paper Nest Doll blog. I used PND image called “Birthday Princess Ellie”.

I colored the image with distress ink. I used bright pink and yellow color combination to match with the card base. I think this combination really matches with the image.

Paper flowers are also in the same color combination.

I love chocolate cake so I used brown color here as well as the cake in the image.

To add the fun of birthday party, I added banner and balloons die cuts.

Birthday Princess Ellie

Hello Friends, Racquel here to share a project using  Birthday Princess Ellie.  She is super adorable and was excited to see her released this month.  I decided to make a shaped card and I cut my card base out using one of my dies from my stash.  I used the princess collection DSP from Echo Park which I love.  I colored the image using my copics and cut her out using a shaped die from my stash.  I added some wild orchid craft flowers to the card along with some butterflies.  I added some shimmer to the flowers and the birthday cake.  You can find more details on my blog.

Avery with Lollipop Birthday Shaker Card

Hello crafty dolls! It’s Sai here.

Today I have a shaker card using The Paper Nest Doll April new release image to share with everyone. This image is called “Avery with Lollipop” and here is my creation.

I have created a fun birthday shaker card. The background paper is glitter candy patterned paper which I had in my stash for a long time but I never had a chance to use it. The cute doll image was colored with distress ink.

Life is Good-Ellie With Flower Pot

Hey there Paper Nest Dolls fans!

Jessie here with a super fun creation I made using the adorable 

Ellie with Flower Pot!!

I had so much fun coloring Ellie up, and pairing her with some bright, cheery papers. I was so ready for Spring, and less cold weather....mind you, I don't want it hot, but not so cold would be lovely!! I always love when the flowers start to bloom, and you see people out working in gardens, and planting beautiful flowers. It's the most beautiful time of the year!

Emma with Balloon Shaker Card

Hello friends, Racquel here to share a shaker card with you on this Saturday. The shaker card is showcasing  the new Emma with Balloon from The Papernest Dolls.  This cutie is apart of the new release in the shop this month.  I needed to make a birthday card for a special little girl and Emma with Balloon  was perfect for this shaker card.

I printed the image out on copic xpress it blend card stock and colored her up using my copics.  I cut her out using my brother scan and cut.  I used the Princess paper collection by echo park for my card. I die cut the frame out from a die I have in my stash and added various sequins to create the shaker.  I added the sentiment to the card and popped the frame up using foam tape to the card base.

 Copic colors used:

Skin: E13, 11, 00, 0000

Hair: E18, 15, 13, YR12

Dress: V09, 06, 04, V01

Socks: C3, 1, 0

Shoes: Light Purple Spica Glitter pen

Ballon: R22, 21, 20

I made the flowers myself, using the  Paper Flower Template file from The Cutting Cafe. I love these flowers! And they are super easy to make.
