Cat Lover Big Hair Amara

Hello! Today I have a card created for The Paper Nest Doll blog to share with you. I used the image from May new release called “Big Hair Amara”.

 

I colored the image with distress ink. Then, I framed the image with scalloped circle die cut and some trims.  

Since Amara is sitting with a cat, I guess she is a cat lover. So I made Amara reading about cats by adding the alphabets “CAT” in front of the book cover.

The paper flowers are in the same color combo with the card.

Avery with Coffee

Hello friends, Happy Sunday to you.  Racquel here to share a card using Avery with Coffee.  She is one of my favorite images in the store.  I am a huge coffee addict and when Christine released her earlier this year I was super excited.  She comes with or without glasses so you have an option on which you prefer.  I decided to select with glasses.   I created this card using digital papers from stash.  I colored Avery using my copics and cut her out using my brother scan and cut.  I die cut a heart out and added the sentiment.  I love the way this card turned out, make sure you pick her up in the shop.

Hochanda TV!!

 Today I am sharing one of the cards that were shown on Hochanda TV ...Uk's fabulous Crafts, Hobbies & Arts Channel. Paper Nest Dolls had 2 shows today....11 am & 4 pm ( Uk time ) . If you missed it, don't worry....just click here and you can watch the taped shows. Just be sure to go to July 18th at those show times and you will see the button. I have to say, I am thrilled with how it turned out. Jo Austin was was an amazing presenter...she really had fun with it . To be honest I was very nervous, but once she started,  I felt at ease and just enjoyed the show.

 Looks like my best selling sets were ..Birthday/ Balloon & Captain Owen / Gone Fishing. I am sharing Gone Fishing today...isn't this card stunning?! On the inside is the sentiment " Hope your day is Reel-y great day ! ".  All the sets came with exclusive sentiments. 

Well,  it's been a looooong day.... so I'm off to bed now

Christmas In July with Reindeer Ellie W/ Ornament

Hi everyone! I'm thinking about Christmas. I the Christmas in July themes. It gives me the kick in the pants that I need to get going on my Christmas cards. 

I used Reindeer Ellie W/ Ornament. I colored the image with Copic markers and then fussy cut her and the kitty.

I used my Cricut to cut out the Christmas tree and decorated it with twine and bling. I found the cute little ornaments at a garage sale last week. They are perfect for cards.

Christmas in July........

NEW Avery with Poinsettia from the Christmas in July Release. I love this card... colors are perfect, and the little winter scene is just too sweet. 

Before you know it Christmas will be here, so try and make some cards now when you have time, then it won't be so overwhelming later. I  know....I know....easier said than done, that's why i said TRYYYYY. lol

Holiday Gifts Avery

Hello Friends, Racquel here with you to share a card using Holiday Gifts Avery that was released this month.  She is such a cutie and I loved coloring her up.  It's Christmas in July, and I am getting a head start on my cards.  This cutie is ready  to drop off gifts to good girls and boys.

I decided to make a winter shadow box card using this cute image.  I colored the image using my copics and cut her out using my brother scan and cut.  I die cut the tree, ice border, snowflakes, stitched hillside, and lamp out of white card stock.  I used some silver vinyl to layer behind the lamp for added dimension. I used a falling snowflakes embossing folder to emboss the inside of the shadow box.  I cut out the sentiment using a banner die from my stash.

Today I am sharing a card that I made using the image Coffee Avery. 

I did this card a little different from my norm. I didn't layer a bunch of card stocks because I really like the design of this paper. It reminds me of a country setting. I can imagine it being a nice morning, sitting outside, listening to the birds chirp and enjoying a cup of coffee. 

I have used this image a couple times before. I just love her! I colored the image with Copic markers.
