Today it's my - Sandra's - turn again, to show you a new cool creation with the Paper Nest Dolls Fairy stamps.

To create the magical looking background I played with Alcohol Inks and Isopropanol.

In the foreground I put 2 die cut grass borders from Sizzix and added the already colored mushrooms from the gnome set, a butterfly and some flowers.

Hey everyone! 

It's Cat here!

Today I have a gorgeous image from Paper Nest Dolls called 'Bedtime Emma'. Such a gorgeous image and you can purchase her here as a digi and here as a rubber stamp.

I have used the digital image and coloured it with Promarkers and white gel pen for some accents. The papers are taken from several packs - One of them being Papermania Capsule Collection Eau de Nil.

I added the half lace semi-circle die cut and the Relax sentiment die along with the Birthday Sentiment and finally added some Gems to complete the card.

Life is a MerMay Party!

Hi Crafty Friends! My name is Laurie. You might have seen my cards and colouring recently as a Guest Design Team Member. Well, Christine has invited me to become a permanent Design Team Member! Yahoo! I'm so excited to join this immensely talented team!

So, here is my first post as a Design Team Member. For this card, I wanted to create a slim line card since they are all the rage right now. This card measures 4" x 9 1/4" which will fit into a regular Number 10 envelope (4 1/8" x 9 1/2"). Flowers And Critters by Ildi

Hello sweet crafty friends, it's Ildi here and I'm sharing a little different card today. I used the flowers of Lulu With Peony and Amara With Poppy  rubber stamps and added some super cute squirrels from the digi Emma With Squirrel. Working on a dark card base is always fun as it gives this special deep look to the whole project and I'm happy that I've found another use for the dolls holding flowers in their hands.

Sending you oceans of love

Hey crafty peeps, Sandra here with you today sending oceans of love with that cute mermaid card.

For my card I used almost all digi stamps of the new Mermaid Set and combined them to create a beautiful underwater scene.

This time I designed a pure coloration card and did not use any die cuts. 

At first I painted the underwater background with my Copic markers because it is the brightest and small mistakes when overpainting can be corrected later without problems with a darker color.

After that I colored the seabed and the sand castle, then continued with the sea grass and also colored the mermaids.

Little Mermaids by Cat

Hi everyone! 

It's Cat here to share today's DT Inspiration 

Paper Nest Dolls has a new release this month and as its May of course it had to be Mermaids for Mer-May.

You can purchase the Mermaid set as digis here or as rubber stamps here! 

I have used digital images to create this adorable under water themed shaker card 

So To make this card:

To begin I created the sea backing paper with Tim Holts Distress inks. ( Chipped Sapphire, Salty Sea, Mermaid Lagoon, Tumbled Glass) I placed the inks onto a glass mat, spritz with water and place the card down on top, pressing down gently so the card would soak up the ink. I then set it aside to dry. 

I then coloured the mermaids and the sea hoarse and jellyfish with Promarkers and fussy cut them out. Sorry I used so many markers and forgot to write them down, but if you would like to know any good colour combos please do give me a comment or message and I'll get back to you. 

I then created the frame using two Square dies. I would use at least one if not two sizes down or between the 2 square dies to make a good thick frame. 

I then took the acetate, remember it has to be heat resistant acetate to be able to create the next part. I then stamped the Sentiment with Versamarke and used Wow white embossing powder to hear emboss on to the acetate, and stuck it to the square frame. 

I added in the sequins onto the dried base and using double foam layers placed the frame on top. Finally adding the Mermaids and animals to the card.

Pink Mermaid by Ildi

Hello sweet crafty friends, it's Ildi here to share an underwater scene card using the newest Paper Nest Dolls  Mermaid set. In this set there are a bunch of sweet murmaid images, but I only picked  this beauty with her gorgoues hair for the center of my card. Changing the size is one of the greatest things about digi stamps and I often use pretty large elements for my projects. For the  stenciled background I combined Distress Inks with Oxides to get a deep ocean look.
