Welcome Little One Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie here! I am sharing my Welcome Little One Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Paper Nest Dolls using Avery with Bird Nest. We discovered a bird nest with some robin eggs on one of our outdoor lights. So, I couldn’t resist creating a card around this miracle! I even used a photo of the eggs in the nest on my card!

The Details of My Welcome Little One Card

For my card, I decided to colour with my Copic markers Avery in similar colours to the eggs and nest but went with a bright red hair for all those gorgeous curls!

Next, I die cut the printed photo with a stitched circle die. I used this same die for all three layers of my “nest” so they would line up when layered. The top two offset layers consisted of leaves in two different greens to add dimension. I also added a few sprigs of leaves emanating from my nest.

I used the border leaf die on the darker DSP behind Avery to tie in my theme and make her stand out from the other DSP.

The sentiment was stamped in Balmy Blue, and one end was cut at an angle with my Paper Snips.

Finally, for embellishments, I added three birds from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds for a bit of sparkle.

Goodnight Hippo

 Hello Crafty Friends, Noelene back today with some D.T. inspiration for the Paper Nest Dolls. 

Today I have a baby card to share using the adorable Goodnight Hippo stamp.

I created my card on a 5"x7" base & die cut a panel then shaded the background with some splaters. I fussy cut my image after colouring & stuck into place. Lastly I added the sentiments & some shaped sprinkles to embellish.

Baby Animal Train by Noelene

 Hello Crafty Friends, Noelene back today with some D.T. inspiration for the Paper Nest Dolls. 

 Today I have a baby girl's card to show you, using 3 out of the 5 adorable images in the Baby Animal Train set from PND.

I have used the no lines technique to colour my images up. This is not something I do often as I am not confident to do so, although I love how it turned out! I should try it more often! I then created a simple slimline card with some enamel dots to embelish & finished of with raised sentiments.

Ice Cream Cravings

   Hello Crafty Friends, Noelene back today with some D.T. inspiration for the Paper Nest Dolls. 

It seems lately I cannot have enough baby cards on hand! This time it was for a gender reveal. So today's card features the yummy mummy image from PND called Ice Cream Cravings.

I printed & coloured my image with Copics on some X-Press It blending paper. I created my card using layers of die cut squares onto a 6x6 base. I embellished it with some cute die cuts of baby clothes & lace & flowers to finish.

Stone Age Girl by Noelene

Hello Crafty Friends, Noelene here today with some D.T. inspiration for the Paper Nest Dolls. 

Today I have a baby card to share using one of the images from the PND Stone Age Family set called Stone Age Girl.

This is a super cute set released in 2022 based on our favourite cave man family The Flinstones. The set comes with 8 different images so you can mix & match to your hearts content to create different scenes.

I created my card on a 5"x7" base & shaded the background after masking my image. Lastly I added the sentiments & some shaped sprinkles to embellish.

Ark Bundle by Noelene

Hello Crafty Friends, Noelene here today with some D.T. inspiration for the Paper Nest Dolls. 

Today I have created a new baby card using one of the 2022 releases called Ark Bundle.

This cute bundle consists of 5 stamps. I have used the Ark image & placed Noah, the Sheep & Lion on top. You can combine the images as I did or use the images on their own. You could also use this set to create a scene for a Christening/Baptism or Baby Birthday card just to name a few. I do have another theme in mind, which I will share with you at a later date.

Welcome Wagon

Hello all my crafty friends!  It's Amanda Fitterer sharing with you on the Paper Nest Dolls blog today!  I hope your week is going well so far!  It's almost Friday!  Hang in there!  :)

Today, I'm excited to share this adorable and sweet baby card with you!  I used the Welcome Wagon digital stamp to create it!

I printed the digital image on 80lb. Neenah Solar White Cardstock and then colored with Copic markers.  Here are the markers I used:Greens:  G0000, G40, G43
Bear:  E40, E41, E42, E43

Pinks:  R01, R30, R20, R21
Elephant:  W00, W0, W1, W2, W4

Yellows:  Y00. Y11, Y04
Yellow/Orange:  Y21, YR31, YR12, Y32

I fussy cut my image out using scissors and then mounted it on a beautiful patterned paper that looks like a child's book.

A perfect "Welcome Baby" card, don't you think!?
