Christmas Angel with Candle by Cat

Today's Card inspiration is  using the image Christmas Angel with Candle - which you can purchase as a digi here

Such a sweet image, and my final Christmas in July Card! 

She is coloured with Promarkers. 

I die cut some clouds and used Antique Linen to distress the edges. I also die cut some papers and stars to add to the background. Finally adding some twine, sentiments and gems.

Hippo Bookmarks

Hey there crafty friends!

It's Amanda here sharing with you these two adorable hippo bookmarks!

To make these bookmarks, I used these digi stamps:

Build a Nest - Family Room

On my computer, I placed my hippos and books how I wanted them and then printed them on 80lb. Neenah Solar White cardstock.

I colored them with my Copic markers, used a tag punch at the top and then added some bakers twine!  Aren't they so cute?!

For the Hippo with Heart, I used:

Body:  T0, T1, T3

Purples:  BV0000, BV000, BV01, BV02

Yellows:  Y0000, Y000, Y11, Y13, Y18

Book pages:  E50, E53

For the Goodnight Hippo, I used:

Book pages and teddy bear:  E50, E53, E30, E31, E34

Feel the Sand Between Your Toes

Hi Crafty Friends,
Are you enjoying your summer? I have a darling summer scene that I created after my sister sent me a picture of her and her daughter, Annie in matching swimsuits from their vacation at Stone Harbor. I just had to re-create the darling photos.This is Emma with Starfish from Paper Nest Dolls. I sized one at 4" for my sister, Lauren and one at 3.5" for Annie and placed them as close as I could for printing. I love how it turned out with their darling toes in the sand and the summer sentiments.

Your Friendship Warms My Heart

Stacey here with you today to share a fun coffee themed card that I created using that super cute image, Avery With Coffee. 

To create my card, I started by creating an A2 card base from some Kraft cardstock. Next I built my card front layers by cutting some fun coffee themed patterned paper and layering it with some green patterned paper. I added a white strip, along with my sentiment, tied a hemp twine bow and attached everything to my Kraft card base. I colored that adorable image from the Paper Nest Dolls, Avery with Coffee, with my Copic markers and used my Scan N Cut to cut her out. I popped her up onto my card with some foam tape for a little extra dimension. I finished my card with a little heart by the sentiment and some enamel dots in the top corner.

I think this turned out so cute!

Christmas in July

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Laurie here with my Christmas in July Design Team Cards for Paper Nest Dolls! You get two cards for the price of one in this post! I love making cards for Christmas in July! It’s a good way for me to get a head start on all the Christmas cards that I make each year and what better way than with these cuties! Who else does Christmas in July?

For the first card, I used the adorable Elf Sewing Teddy Digital Stamp. She was so fun to colour with her sweet teddy bear! I thought all the sewing embellishments were perfect for my card!

For my next card, I used Elf Painting Train Digital Stamp. Such a cute stamp with his toy train and cars! He was a lot of fun to match my colouring of the other elf! Of course, all of Santa’s Elves have to have the same uniform! Since both images go together, I created the same layout, but with different papers and embellishments.

Birthday Koalas Shadow Box Card

Well, hello there!  

Thank you so much for stopping by the Paper Nest Dolls blog!

It's Amanda Fitterer and I'm back with this SUUUPER cute shadow box card using 3 of my favorite koala digi stamps!

 I used a shadow box die set from Heffy Doodle for my card base.

I printed my images on 80 lb. Neenah Solar White cardstock and then colored the images with my Copic markers.

Grays:  T0, T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T7

Reds:  R32, R21, R30, R00

Yellows:  Y13, Y11, Y000

Blue Greens:  BG0000, BG11, BG32

Greens: G02

Reds: R43, R21

Earth:  E70, E71, E74

I used my precision scissors to cut these little guys out and then put them in my shadow box card!

Storytime Ellie Build Your Nest Card by Cat

Hi everyone!

So for today's Paper Nest Dolls inspiration I have used the Newly released  Build Your Own Nest digital images found Here and Here as well as Storytime Ellie found Here.

These are perfect sets to have so you can build your own perfect scene and use any doll with in the scene! 

So to begin I built my Scene in MS Word. As these are pgn images they fit together with out covering the adjacent image - Remember to use the Wrap Text as 'through'

Once the scene is complete all you have to do is print it out onto card - I use 160gsm smooth card for my Samsung Xpress printer. 

Once Printed I coloured with ProMarkers:

Walls - Lavender Shaded Lilac Tim Holtz Distress ink, white gell pen, Cool Grey 1,2

Cats - Cool Grey 1,2,3,

Curtains/ Cushion/ Plant Stand  - Dusky Pink, Antiqu Pink, Rose Pink, Pastel Pink

Chair - Grey Green, Tea Green

Rug- Saffron, Vanilla, Pinks

Floor- Cinnamon, Praline, caramel, Tan

Girl - Hair - Tan, Vanilla

         Skin - Pale Peach, Blush, Bbay Pink, Vanilla

         Trousers - Black Cool Gray 5

         Socks - Cool Grey 1,2

         Top - Pear Green, Lime Green

Books - Pear Green, Lime Green, Cinnamon, Caramel, Black, Coole Grey 5, Cyan, French Navy

Plant - Terracotta, Burnt Orange Honeycomb, Apple, Meadow Green, Lush Green 

I used a Stencil for the wall Pattern.

Finally I added some sentiments and some pearls to complete this one layer card.

Sending Sunshine

Hi everyone!

I hope you are having a fabulous day!

Stacey with you today to share a bright and happy card that I created using 

Sunshine Ellie from Paper Nest Dolls. 

To create my card, I started with a white card base and layered some striped patterned paper on top. I used a border punch to create a lacy edge to the sides of a white cardstock panel and trimmed down a piece of light blue paper to fit in the center. I stamped my greeting along the bottom, added some twine and then popped up my panel onto my card front with some foam tape. I printed out Sunshine Ellie from Paper Nest Dolls onto some cardstock, sizing her at 4", and colored her with my Copic markers. Once I had her colored, I used my Scan N Cut to cut her out and I popped her up onto my card with more foam tape. I completed my card with some faux stitching with my white gel pen and a few sequins for some sparkle.

I just thought this image was so cute! I love sending happy mail and I hope this brightens someone's day with a little bit of sunshine (in paper form of course lol).
