'Twas the Night Before Christmas by Noelene

Hello crafty friends, Noelene with you today!

Today is the day of another new release from the Paper Nest Dolls. It is called Christmas Eve & is a Christmas build a nest bundle, so I am showcasing a card I made using some of the elements.

Once I was happy with how my scene looked I printed it out & coloured with Copics. I then cut layers of cardstock to create a 5x7 card.

For my scene I have used the fireplace, sleeping kitty, presents, stockings & Santa from the bundle. When I put the images together it reminded me of one of my favourite all time Christmas books, so I created the sentiment on my computer using the first verse.

Copics:
Santa & Stockings: C5, R22, R24, R27, R29, W00, W0, W1, W2, C5, C6, C7, C8, C9, E35, Y18
Mantle & Presents: C5, R22, R24, R27, R29, E35, Y18
Candles: YR09, Y15, E50, E51, E53, E55
Fireplace: W1, W3, W4, W5, W6
Cat:C0, C1, C3, C4, R30

The bundle comes with 11 digital stamps to make the perfect scene on your projects.

The Christmas Eve is available in digi here

Gamer Boy by Noelene

Hi all, it's Noelene back again today to share some D.T inspiration with a masculine card I made.

For my card today I am using the really cool Gamer Boy stamp from the Build Your Own Nest (Gamers). I have also coordinated the Gamer Boy with the couch from the Build Your Own Nest (Family Room).

The Build Your Own Nest (Gamers) set comes with 3 digital images: a gamer boy, a gamer girl and a game console/games. The Build Your Own Nest (Family Room) set contains 30 digital PNG images so you can build your own scene/room. This sets are so versatile, because you have so many options to mix and match and have fun & make many different scenes with just using 2 stamp sets!

Build Your Own Nest (Gamers) is available in digital format here & Build Your Own Nest (Family Room) is available in digital format here.

Don't forget to check out another set which goes great with these 2 sets called Build Your Own Nest (Girl Time).

Thanks for stopping by!

Level Up Birthday Card

This set of digital stamps are perfect to create your own “room” using the Build Your Own Nest (Family Room). For my card, I decided that I wanted to highlight these cute gamers and their game box and games. So, I created a slim line card just for them.

Just a Girl and Her Cat

Hi crafty friends!
It's Amanda here with my very first card with Paper Nest Dolls!

I am so excited to share this Build Your Own Nest card!  I had so much fun creating my own living room!  I felt like an interior decorator!

To create this card, I printed the background first on a piece of 80lb. Neenah Solar Classic White cardstock.  I cut it down to A2 size (4.25" x 5.5").  The background consisted of the window, frame, and the rug.

Next, I printed all the other images on a separate piece of cardstock.  Before printing, I put the cat and the girl on their chairs so that I didn't have to cut them out separately.  I also put the books under the table.

I colored all the images with my Copic markers and then used precision scissors to cut each image out.
Hair:  E29, E09, E08
Skin: E11, E00, E000
Grays: N04, N03, N02, N01
Yellows: Y17, Y04, Y02, Y00, Y000
Greens: G20, G24, G12, G00
Browns: E35, E34, E31, E30

I used 3D foam squares to adhere my images to my scene, except for the items on the table.  I used liquid glue for those items.

There are so many possibilities with this Build Your Own Nest set!  I can't wait to make more scenes!
'Til next time!  Xoxo, Amanda
