Just a Girl and Her Cat

Hi crafty friends!
It's Amanda here with my very first card with Paper Nest Dolls!

I am so excited to share this Build Your Own Nest card!  I had so much fun creating my own living room!  I felt like an interior decorator!

To create this card, I printed the background first on a piece of 80lb. Neenah Solar Classic White cardstock.  I cut it down to A2 size (4.25" x 5.5").  The background consisted of the window, frame, and the rug.

Next, I printed all the other images on a separate piece of cardstock.  Before printing, I put the cat and the girl on their chairs so that I didn't have to cut them out separately.  I also put the books under the table.

I colored all the images with my Copic markers and then used precision scissors to cut each image out.
Hair:  E29, E09, E08
Skin: E11, E00, E000
Grays: N04, N03, N02, N01
Yellows: Y17, Y04, Y02, Y00, Y000
Greens: G20, G24, G12, G00
Browns: E35, E34, E31, E30

I used 3D foam squares to adhere my images to my scene, except for the items on the table.  I used liquid glue for those items.

There are so many possibilities with this Build Your Own Nest set!  I can't wait to make more scenes!
'Til next time!  Xoxo, Amanda

Dance In the Rain - Tina Goodwin

Hello everyone! I have a rainy day card to share with you today. I used Avery in Rain Pancho

I colored Avery well over a year ago with Copic markers. She may be an older image, but she is still one of my favorites.

I used La-La Land Crafts Dies to create the farmland scene.

The sentiment that I used is one of my favorite quotes. If you've never danced in the rain you have to give it a try!

Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you have a craftastic day!
Hugs,

Owen with Frog - Tina Goodwin

Hello all! I am back from a little time off from Papernest Dolls. With remodeling my craftroom, my son graduating from high school, and family here visiting, we have been crazy busy.

It is so good to be back! I have missed coloring these adorable images!

I decided to get back into creating using Owen with Frog

This is such an adorable image! I especially love the frog.

I colored the image with Copic markers and used La-La Land Craft Dies to embellish the card.

Thank you for stopping by to visit! Have a craftastic day!

Princess Avery with a Frog

Good morning crafty friends! Did you see the new releases from this month?!
I am in love with every one of them! The Princess Avery w/ Frog is my favorite.

I am here to share a card I made with one of the new releases. Of course I had to use

I found this adorable frog paper on Etsy. You can pretty much find digital paper for any occasion/theme imaginable on Etsy.

I colored Princess Avery w/ Frog with Copic markers. I am so happy with how her dress turned out. I'd say this is one of my best colorings to date.

Valentine's Day Card With Goth Avery - By Tina Goodwin

Good morning! Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Which is why I am popping in to share some Valentine's Day inspiration with you.

I made a Valentine's Day with the newly released image, Goth Avery.

I am in love with Goth Avery's outfit!

I colored Goth Avery with Copic markers. I couldn't resist giving her purple hair and an outfit to match. She was really a fun image to color.

The flower and heart dies that I used are from La La Land Crafts

I decided to stick with black and purples for the papers on the card. I got the black boards here at a new scrapbook store that opened up here. Of course, I had to go in and check that out as soon as I discovered them.  It's always exciting to have a new craft store open. I tend to prefer the small shops to the big chains. I get better service and there seems to be a much better paper selection. For the patterned papers at least.

The black and off white paper, I have had in my stash for awhile now. It came from the only other small craft store where I live. I am a frequent shopper there. They know me by name. That may or may not be an indication to how much time I have spent shopping there =)

Ok, on to the Copic markers used on Goth Avery

Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, E0000
Hair: V09, V06, V04, V01
Skirt: 110, C10, C7, C5, C3, C1
Shirt: C3, C1
Doll: E11, E00, E000, YG07, YG11, 110, C7
Socks and Shoes: V09, V04, C1, 100, C7, C5, C3

I made her outfit a extra fun by adding sparkles to it with a white gel pen.

Thank you all for stopping by today have a great day!
