I fussy cut my image out using scissors and then mounted it on a beautiful patterned paper that looks like a child's book.

Emma with Squirrel

Hi Paper Nest Dolls Fans! It's Betty here.  Even though it's Fall here in the USA, it's still close to 100 degrees here in Sacramento, California. Fall weather is just around the corner. When I walk in the park, I see the squirrels gathering up all the acorns to store for the winter. It looks like Emma has a pet squirrel and is helping it collect some acorns! Isn't this just too cute? Emma with Squirrel is a digital stamp, which means you can make the image as big or as small as you like.

I colored this stamp with Copic markers. The colors are listed below.

Copic colors used:
Hair: E44, E43, E42, E41
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
Cheeks: R20
Dress (Aqua): BG05, BG02, BG01, BG000
Dress (Gray): W5, W3, W1, W0
Wagon (Brown): E44, E43, E42
Wagon (Silver/Gray): T3, T2, T1
Wagon Tires: T7, T5, T3
Squirrel: E18, E09, E11
Acorn: E37, E25, E55
Pumpkins: YR07, YR04, YR02, E15, E13, E11

Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful day! If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below.

Alien Avery - New Release

Hello Everyone,

This is my first blog post for Paper Nest Dolls! I am so excited to be here!  I have been on the Design Team for about two months and am having such a fun time coloring the cute stamps and creating projects with them. I love all things crafty, especially paper crafts. I live in Northern California where there are four seasons and we are heading into Fall.

In 10 days, the official start of Fall begins here in the USA, which means 5 weeks until Halloween. This also means, it's time to start making the Halloween and Fall cards, if you haven't started yet. With this COVID-19 pandemic, there probably won't be a lot of Halloween parties, so how about surprising your family and friends with some cute cards? The card I made with the adorable Paper Nest Dolls' new release stamp, Alien Avery, makes the perfect Halloween card. Check out the cute slippers she is wearing! I used the digital version of this stamp and a red rubber stamp will be available soon.

To make this card, I imported the digital image into Silhouette Studio software and did a print and cut of the stamp and colored it with Copic markers (colors are listed below). You can also just print the digital stamp and fussy cut it too.

I found a cute spaceship with the alien and Take me to Your Candy cut file from the Silhouette Store and cut it out of cardstock using my Cameo.

For the squiggle mat that is behind Alien Avery, I sprayed Distress Spray Stains and Perfect Pearls Mists (colors are listed below) onto watercolor paper. I let it dry and used the Stamp Anniething Squiggle Mat Die to cut out the mat. I used my Cuttlebug to cut the die.

I used the Greetings word die from Stamp Anniething and cut it out of cardstock. I used Distress Ink to ink the edges of the both of the sentiments.

I used patterned paper from FreePik.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope I inspired you to start your Halloween and Fall cards. I also have a new blog and hope you can visit and follow me too!  https://silverelephantcraftique.blogspot.com/

Ellie with Clovers

This gorgeous image I have used today is Ellie With Clovers, and is one of my favorites of the newest images released by Christine in March! She took the super cute Ellie with Flowers, and changed her a bit to give her a St. Patrick's Day feel!!

For Ellie, I went with red hair, as a proper Irish girl would, and stuck with the green theme. I threw in a bit of yellow because it made me think of GOLD!! She was paired with paper from Doodlebug, and cardstock from both MFT and Bazzil.

Well, that is it for me now! Have a great day!

Summer Lovin'

Howdy y'all today I'm going to share with you Bikini Ellie
from The Paper Nest. I thought she would be great for
summer time. Bikini Ellie is SO dang cute. I colored her
last month and could not wait to show her to y'all.
now was the task to narrow down all my 500 ideas.
(that's really hard to do)
I have all these things run though my head that will
look so cute like do  use beach paper, stickers, beach
seen, something from my cameo? this is how it goes
with every project, I can never make up mind mind
on what to do, and put it off till the last minute and then
it comes out bad.
I ended up doing this card twice, I hope I got it right the
second time. I used lots of digi stamps. I always try
to create something a bit different not the same old thing everytime.
I made a step card and layered
it with beach background, sand and waves.
I used my cameo cut everything out, used bright and light colors together.
I hope you like it, come back soon.
Here is the first pic. I took a bunch so you can see all
the glitter and dimensions

upclose are the wave and fishy.

side view so you can see the step card.

Here is bikini Ellie she looks a bit dark in this pic.

This is the sun I cut out and used my pens on my
cameo.

I hope you can see how cute it is. I know the pics
are kinda dark my light broke and have not had
a chance to replace it.
Don"t forget to go check out The Paper Nest Store

Dt project Rainy Day Avery atc cards

I have another project I want to share with you for the theme this week is St. Paddy's Day.  I used the Rainy Day Avery image again from The Paper Nest Dolls but this time I changed it up a bit, I printed her out at 25% of the exact size and put her on these little tiny atc cards and she was just so much fun and adorable to color.

Note:  I apologize but this image is no longer available through Paper Nest Dolls but you can find Raining hearts Avery and she is just as darling standing out in the rain in her beautiful rain coat with hearts raining down all around her, please go check out that new image she has in the store.

Thanks for looking!

Easter Ellie

Easter is almost here!

Its Loriann for another post for The Paper Nest.
Easter is around the corner, and its early this year, so we need to start creating all the fun bunny stuff.
I was going to do this next month untill I was asked to put it up earlier, so here she is.

This is Easter Ellie isn't she adorable?
I think so!
The Paper Nest Dolls are just the cutest new stamps, they
all have personality, there is one, two or more for every theme you can think
of and best of all they are all hand drawn
plus there is more and more coming out every month,
so keep checking here and The Paper Nest StoreBlogFacebook,
for all the new stamps. They come in Digi and in rubber.
Now here's another look at my card.

I did the inside to match as I always do, I just love the colors
so bright and colorful.  So here is what the inside looks like.

Too cute! I must say!
Now for an up close, see how she just has
personality? Don't you just want to smile when you
see her?
I do!

Thankyou for looking, I am working on more cute
things so keep coming back Here to see.

Rainy day Avery layout

This is the Rainy Day Avery layout I made using some photos of old flowers from my grandma's homestead.   Here is the link to the stamp in the Paper Dolls store and there are some closeup pics below.  I love using this image because there is nothing more beautiful than a blooming flower after a rain.  Paper dolls on etsy link to stamp here

Here is another layout I created with same image but in completely different colors.  I called this one Dance in the Rain.

My Little Brother Easel Card

My Little Brother Easel Card

has so many cute stamps I can never
 decide witch one to do.
Now for the Stamp and Card
is My Little Brother I colored it with copics.
The paper I used was Debbie Mumm 12x12
 premium prints for Jo-ann Crafts

The sentiment I made up on my computer and
printed it on my Kodak printer using
Dik font.

I always wanted to make an easel card so
I thought I would give it a try, I will make many
more it was a lot easier than I thought.

An up close view of the coloring I'm
still learning, but with copics I think there is
always someone with a new technique.
So have fun and explore when you do your coloring's.
I tried new paper to color on too, its
 Cryogen metallic iridescent white paper
I like it not sure if I love it,
I will keep trying it out to see how much I like it.
I do love the glitter in it, but I don't like that its not as white
as the other paper I use but you cant really
see the difference once its colored I guess.
