Posh on Glass!

Ladies, I've been playing with the Posh Princess Doll today!

But . . . . Surprise!  I'm not working with paper today!  Instead I've found some really ingenious water slide paper to print out a colored images onto.  The need for this funnel glass jar came in when my daughter asked me for a way to add a scent and improve the smell of her living room area but have a way to showcase her beautiful flowers as well!  I've added scented dollar store flower petals to the funnel.  It's difficult to photograph glass but I'll do what I can.

The petals inside the vase make her look a bit crinkled but IRL, this image is as smooth as glass! Wink!
I've added a bit of Really Reasonable Ribbon Jute, a bit of additional ribbon for my stash and then some silk rose buds and WOC gorgeous sunflower.  The color coordination of ribbons, flowers and coloring of the image brought this project together perfectly!  I hope you try to do something different with your doll images and share with us all in the inspiration FB page very soon.

Hugs till next time,

Tammy Louise

Nautical Ellie

Although my style rests more on the CAS style of cardmaking I do also love a bit of colouring and layers... enter my love for The Paper Nest Dolls.

Today I'm sharing with you one of my absolute favourites from the last PND release... Nautical Ellie....

I wanted to really go to town with the nautical theme so I pulled out some navy and red papers and matted all of these layers onto navy card.

When I think nautical, I think rope and knots ... so they had to be added. Oh and an anchor cut from metal sheet.

The cute little sentiment is from Wplus9 'Dockside' and was stamped on vellum using Archival ink.

The star of the show ... I have coloured her up using Copics.

Thank you so much for popping in!

Sweet Dreams with Bed Time Ellie

Hi Everyone!
It's Michele here with a little bit older stamp that I wanted to give some love:-)
I think she is adorable in her PJ's with her Teddy and Bunny slippers!
I added some pretty Aqua and white cording I had been saving with some wonderful paper flowers.
Copic markers were used to color this sweetie . Bedtime Ellie was so much fun to color that I started off with lighter pink for her robe but then darkened it up to make the colors a bit more fun!
As always,
Thank you for stopping by today and please remember to check the blog regularly as each day there will be a new project to share.
Hugs
Michele
