Avery with Snowman

Hello crafty friends!  It's Amanda Fitterer here!  I hope your Christmas was amazing!  I can't believe it's over already!  I can't believe that 2020 is almost over!  Craaaazy!  I hope you're all staying healthy and warm!

Today, I'm sharing this card using the Avery with Snowman stamp.

To make this card, I started with printing the digital stamp onto 80# Neenah Solar White cardstock.  I colored the image using Copic markers and then cut the image using scissors.

Next, I made my card base and embellishments using scrapbook paper.  I used 3D foam squares and strips to adhere them to my card front.

Isn't she just SO sweet with her little snowman?  Thank you so much for stopping by the Paper Nest Dolls blog today!  I hope you have a wonderful New Year!  See ya back here in 2021!!

Xoxo, Amanda

I hope you enjoyed my Christmas card today!

Winter Birthday Card

Hello PND Fans! Betty here with a cute birthday card. I just adore panda bears. I think they are the cutest among all the bears. When I saw this Paper Nest Dolls digital stamp, Emma with Panda, I knew I had to make a birthday card. I decided to make a winter-themed birthday card, since I have several friends that have birthdays in the winter.

To make this 6" x 6" card, I made the digital stamp 3-3/4"H and let the computer auto-adjust the width so that there is no distortion in the image. Then I printed the stamp, colored it with Copics (colors listed below), added a few white dots with a gel pen, and fussy cut it.

I added die cut white trees and a picket fence. I used gold-mirror cardstock to cut out the stars. I printed the Happy Birthday sentiment then cut it out with a die. I added some pearl embellishments and my card was done. I hope you give this card a try, so easy and fun to make!

Copic markers used:
Hair: E44, E43, E42, E41
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000

Jingle All the Way

Santa Ellie with Gift
Santa Ellie with Gift

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Laurie here sharing my Jingle All the Way Card for the Design Team of Paper Nest Dolls. I used the updated Santa Ellie with Gift which is only $1 right now! Make sure you get yours at such a great deal!!

I coloured Ellie with my Copic Markers in Santa red and white colours. Isn’t she just the cutest in her Santa outfit! I knew that I wanted to create a shaker card and use some Christmas foil accents. There have been some awesome shaker cards by the PND Design Team, and I was inspired by them to give it a try! Since the Jingle All the Way die cut had bells, I used mini bells from the dollar store for the shaker part. I had to double up my adhesive strips to give the bells enough room to jingle when you shook the card. To tie in those bells, I die cut some larger bells in the red and green foil and then tied 3 bells with linen thread.

Christmas Angel Ellie with Amanda

Hey crafty friends!  It's Amanda Fitterer here with another fun Christmas card!  Do you have your holiday cards finished?  I made this sweet little Christmas Angel Ellie for my Granny.  She is the one who got me into cardmaking many many years ago!  Chances are I won't get to see her for Christmas this year so I wanted to send her something special.

I started with the digital stamp Christmas Angel Ellie and printed her on 80# Neenah Solar White Cardstock.  I colored her with Copic markers.

Once I had her all colored in, I cut her out with detail scissors.  I also created a background for the card using the Hello Bluebird Frames #4 and Welcome Santa Paper Pack from Dress My Craft.

I adhered everything to the card base using 3D foam squares and strips.  Easy peasy!  Here's another photo of the finished card!

Hope you all have a safe, healthy, and fun Christmas!  Xoxo, Amanda

Elf Emma with Foiled Shimmery Lights

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today, I am a sharing a fun Christmas lights themed card featuring this darling little image from Paper Nest Dolls called Elf Emma with Lights she is perfect for this metallic foiled card.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What kind of lights do you put on your tree?
A: Me? I like white lights.

Step 1: I started my die cutting the string of lights from white cardstock. I put white cardstock on one Scrapbook Adhesives Adhesive Sheet and  die cut each of the little bulbs from it so that I would have the adhesive on the cardstock to apply my foils.

Step 2: I peeled off the yellow portion of the adhesive sheet and laid out my bulbs. I picked red, green, and silver Scrapbook Adhesives foil from the 3D Foam Holiday Kit with Foil to use on the bulbs.

Step 3: I rubbed and pressed the foils on each bulb making sure the foil fully covered each bulb and peeled back slowly to reveal the beautiful shiny bulbs.

Step 4: I adhered the bulbs to my string using Scrapbook Adhesives Dual Tip Glue Pen which has the PERFECT thin end for these small areas. I also used it to adhere my sentiment to the card. I love the narrow tip for sentiment dies that often have thinner fonts.

Step 5: I finished off my card by adding Scrapbook Adhesives 3D White Foam Circles to the back of Elf Emma so that she pops from the card

Here is a final look at the finished card with a few different angles so you can see the foil shimmer!

Supplies:
Scrapbook Adhesives Dual Tip Glue Pen
Scrapbook Adhesives 3D White Foam Circles
Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Holiday Embellishment Kit with Foil
Scrapbook Adhesives Adhesive 4x6 Sheets
Gina Marie Stitched Rectangle Die
Kat Scrappiness Jingle All the Way Sentiment Die
