Level Up Birthday Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Laurie here sharing my Level Up Birthday Card for the Design Team of Paper Nest Dolls using Build Your Own Nest (Gamers). It comes with 3 digital images including a gamer boy, a gamer girl and a game console/games.

Level Up Birthday Card

This set of digital stamps are perfect to create your own “room” using the Build Your Own Nest (Family Room). For my card, I decided that I wanted to highlight these cute gamers and their game box and games. So, I created a slim line card just for them.

Mermaid Princess - Happy Birthday Card

Hi PND Fans! Betty here with another card inspiration! When my daughter was three years old, her favorite Disney movie was The Little Mermaid. This was one movie I really enjoyed watching repeatedly. This July, Disney is coming out with a live action movie starring Halle Bailey (musician) as Ariel and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula! I can't wait for this movie to come out! After hearing about this news, I had to make a card with Paper Nest Dolls' Ariel-inspired mermaid, "Mermaid Princess." This stamp comes in red rubber and in digital (I used the digital).

I kept the A2 sized card simple by printing the digital stamp and then used masking tape to mask it so that I can do some ink blending for the background. I used Distress Ink in Vintage Photo to ink blend the bottom to make it look like sand, then used my Copic markers to highlight the ripples in the water and used a light brushing of Distress Oxide in Mermaid Lagoon to make the water. Lastly, I used a cloud stencil from Stamp Anniething and used Distress Oxide in Mermaid Lagoon ink for the sky.

After the background was done, I peeled off the mask and colored the image using Copic markers. Colors are listed below.

Copic markers used:
Hair: E18, E08, YR18, YR14
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
Cheeks: R20
Teal: BG57, BG13, BG23, BG11
Purple: V15, V12, V01
Yellow: Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11
Brown: E44, E47, E55, E42
Water: B01, B00, B000

I cut out a lacy die from Gina Marie Designs. I cut out a white mat and colored the edges with Distress Oxide in Mermaid Lagoon to match the clouds. I typed the sentiment using my computer and printed it out then used a Banner Die from Stamp Anniething, inked the edges with a Copic marker (BG57) and adhered it to the card using foam squares. I used a white gel pen to add some dots for highlights to the card.

I hope you enjoyed my card today! Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day! Betty

Shamrock Wishes by Noelene

 Hello crafty friends,

Noelene back again sharing some Shamrock Wishes.

St Patrick's Day is just around the corner, so for my inspiration today I am using Lucky Emma from PND.

I created my shaker card using my Silhouette machine to cut the shamrock shape for the shaker window.

I didn't want to embellish too much so I only added some flowers.

Lucky Emma can be found in rubber stamp here or digital stamp here.

Thanks for stopping by!

Queen of Valentines Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Laurie here sharing my Queen of Valentines Card using the digital version of Queen of Hearts Ellie. This cute stamp come in both a rubber and a digital version. There is also a Wonderland Bundle that consists of Queen of Hearts Ellie, Emma in Wonderland, Mad Hatter Avery and Mischievous Cat. Love this Bundle! You can also buy them individually. I hope to colour more of them in the future!

Queen of Valentines Card

For, my card, I knew that I wanted to make a Valentine’s card with this stamp. Something a little different. Hence the Queen of Valentines! I coloured sweet Ellie with my Copic markers and added Glossy Accents and Stardust Stickles in certain places to make her sparkle. The Down the Rabbit Hole paper was perfect for my card with all the crowns! I have had this Hearts Border Die forever and thought it reminded me of the Queen’s garden of roses in the book, but with hearts instead. I had fun creating my playing cards using a die from the Stamp Anniething, but it is easy enough to create them using other rectangle and heart dies. Of course, you have to have a Queen of Hearts playing card along with an Ace of Hearts and the “back” of a third card using the Valentine Paper with all the Valentine words. A die cut heart, white rick-rack, red/white twine, red rhinestones and a card charm tie this theme all together!

Raccoon Love Letter by Noelene

Hi all,

Noelene back again today to share with you a cute Valentine's card I created. For my project I am using the sweet Paper Nest Dolls image called Raccoon Love Letter.

I first cut out this envelope shaped box card S.V.G. file using my Silhouette cutting machine to create. I enlarged my image large enough to fit in front of the envelope. I printed it on plain paper first to make sure it fits neat & not waste my blending paper. The original image has the envelope, but I trimmed this off.

Once coloured, I glued my image onto my front of the envelope box card.

Isn't he the sweetest!

Raccoon Love is available in digital format here or in rubber in a set of 3 here which include 2 other adorable raccoon stamps.

Thanks for stopping by!
