Morning All !! 

This is Jane and I'm so excited to be asked back to guest again at The Paper Nest Dolls. They just released their " WONDERLAND " collection, and I had the wonderful privilege of using one for my guest dt post today. The hardest choice was deciding which one of these adorable stamps to use. I finally chose Hatter Owen and decided do something a little different to show him off..

Summer Lovin'

Howdy y'all today I'm going to share with you Bikini Ellie

 from The Paper Nest. I thought she would be great for 

summer time. Bikini Ellie is SO dang cute. I colored her 

last month and could not wait to show her to y'all.

now was the task to narrow down all my 500 ideas. 

(that's really hard to do)

I have all these things run though my head that will

look so cute like do  use beach paper, stickers, beach

seen, something from my cameo? this is how it goes 

with every project, I can never make up mind mind 

on what to do, and put it off till the last minute and then

it comes out bad.

I ended up doing this card twice, I hope I got it right the

 second time. I used lots of digi stamps. I always try

to create something a bit different not the same old thing everytime.

I made a step card and layered

it with beach background, sand and waves.

I used my cameo cut everything out, used bright and light colors together.

This is the sun I cut out and used my pens on my 

cameo.

I hope you can see how cute it is. I know the pics 

are kinda dark my light broke and have not had 

a chance to replace it.

Ladybug Love.... =)

          Hey it's Nikki for the Paper Nest Dolls with the cutest thing ever......As long as I can remember, I have always loved ladybugs. With this project I am about to show you, I decided to step outside of the box and do something a little different for myself. It is not your typical card that you would see from me but a tag, that is right folks, I made a TAG. A really cute tag using Ladybug Emma. You can find this stamp here. I decided I needed to try something different as I always complete cards, usually because I need them for something. It was time for something different.....

           With Ladybug Emma, I used Copic markers to ink her up. Her skin was coloured with E000, E00, E11 and R20. Her hair was inked with........ Her dress I did with R37, R39, R46 and R89. The dots are done with C3, C5, C7 and C9. I used Diamond Stickles to add some sparkle. The grass was done in YG03. The flowers were inked with V12 and RV34.

          I cut the tag shape from the Cricut machine using Tags, Bags and More. The tag is 6.5" in size. I used Gina K Kraft card stock. As you can see, I distressed everything using Tim Holtz distressing ink in Walnut Stain. I used black card stock and Pebbles patterned paper. I added some jazz with the cream coloured lace, black feather from Bella Blvd and some cheese clothe. The final touch was the red satin ribbon. This was definitely out of the box for me but I am very happy with how this turned out. Hope you enjoyed..... stay crafty my friends..... =)

Copic Hair Color 1...

Hey everyone Heather here from Heather's Hobbie Haven.

I'm sure you've seen my color swatches floating around on Pinterest.

Well Christine tracked me down 

and asked if I could do some Copic Marker color swatches for The Paper Nest Blog using her paper dolls. And here I am.

I Updated Both Avery Color Sheets.
She is now Larger and can be cut to fit 3 x 4 Snap Pockets!
Yes I colored up a sheet of the others and cut part of her hair off so had to revamp.

I currently keep my color swatches in a Sn@p Album.

I use the 3" x 4" Page Protectors.

That way I can move them around

and keep all the same hair colors together.

I'm OCD about it.

Or you could also cut the page into 6 and use a ring in the corner to hold it together.

Or keep the pages in a 3 ring binder.

It's totally up to you.

Since I'm blonde I thought our very first hair color could be to.

I color from dark to light, but if you color from light to dark that's great to.

Just reverse the color order.

Wonderland Special Release- Day 3

Oh my golly good golly ... this special Alice In Wonderland inspired release has got to be my absolute favourite of Christine's!!! Firstly I am a little obsessed with Alice and secondly Christine has done an awesome job turning the dolls into the most famous characters of the book- Alice (Time For Tea Avery), The Queen Of Hearts (Queen Ellie), The Mad Hatter (Hatter Owen) and The White Rabbit (Emma Rabbit). 

There is also a super sweet story on how this idea came about and that is last year this is what the real dolls dressed up as for Halloween .... how cute is that?!?!?!?! You can check out some of those pics on the Paper Nest Dolls facebook page

Would You Like a Little MORE Tea?

Hi there! It's Valerie here today, and I am SO excited to be sharing the second 2 images in the just-released, REALLY special, new collection, Wonderland.

I LOOOVED these 2 images immediately when I saw them: the Mad Hatter and Emma Rabbit; could you possibly think of anything cuter?!

I created 2 cards; both are 6"x6", and colored with Copic Sketch markers. For both projects, I used 6"x6" paper pads from My Mind's Eye.

Welcome to Wonderland, Tea Anyone???

          Hey it's Nikki for The Paper Nest Dolls. I could not pass up the opportunity to take part in this special new release when I was asked by Christine. I absolutely ADORE this stamp and fell in love with it immediately. Her name is Tea Time Avery and she is part of Christine's new Wonderland stamps....... and wonderful it is......

          How cute is she? ADORABLE....... I inked her up with Copic markers. Her skin was done with E000, E00, E11 and R20. Her hair is inked with E50, E51 and E53. Her dress, shoes and hair accessories were coloured with B00, B02, B04, B05 and B06. Her apron was inked with C0, C1 and C3. I also added some sparkle to her shoes and hair accessories with Turquoise Stickles.

          I found this little wooden teapot and thought it would be perfect for this card. I covered it with My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose patterned paper and distressed it with Tim Holtz distressing ink in Walnut Stain. I stamped it with a sentiment "Warm Wishes" from the Paper Smooches "Hot Concoctions" stamp set.

          I made this 5.5X5.5" square card from Gina K Kraft card stock. I used Turquoise card stock to add pops of colour. The first layer of patterned paper is Lilybeedesign's "Sweet Shoppe". The other patterned paper is My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose. I used Spellbinders Label 1 and 16 to cut out the image and frame. The heart border is called Layered Heart Border from MFT Die-Namics die cuts. I heavily distressed all the layers {including the card} with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain distressing ink. I tied in the bling with the rhinestones at the corner and I added faux stitching and dots with the Signo Uniball white gel pen. This is it..... hope you love.... stay crafty my friends.....
