Dress Up Dolls by Ildi

Hello crafty friends, this is my first non-card project on the PND blog, can't deny my excitement about it :). Ilways loved to play with dress up paper dolls as a child,  had a huge box with piles of paper dolls and dresses, even had a pop-up house for them.

Ever since I was involved in papercrafting the idea to create something similar with my stamping tools has been on my mind. And now with my lots of free time I felt I'd go for it. I used the rubber stamps Amara With Poppy and Lulu With Peony.

I stamped them in my sketck book and partially colored them with my Copics. Stamped the images onto various pieces of pattern paper as well and fussy cut the dresses and Lulu's bow. Put a little repositionable glue on the back of the paper pieces in order to easily attach them onto the dolls.

It can be a good idea for using up pattern paper scraps.

I've stamped and cut out many different outfits. I found that it can help finding the best color combos for cardmaking as well.

I've created some die cut envelopes to store the dresses for these lovely young ladies so they can always change clothes when they wish.

Thank you for stopping by, whising joyful creative time!
Hugs,
Ildi

Teacher Emma - By Cat

Hi Everyone! Cat here

Well this week my little boy should have been leaving nursery and heading, as we cal it, to big boy school. He wasn't really looking forward to it, so it's luck that we are in lock-down really.

The shock will be so big for him, as he left the nursery so quickly and will be returning to a brand new place, with brand new staff and children. It's a worry.

This is the card that i made for his teachers, but now i suppose its a card to 'Thanks' Teachers for their tireless work during lock-down

I have used the Digital Image 'Teacher Emma' which you can find here, But you can also get her as a rubber stamp here.

The image has been coloured with Promarkers and white gel pen.
Hair:Coco, Saddle Brown, Raw Sienna
Dress/ Shoes/ Glasses :Dusky Rose, Cocktail Pink, Pale Pink, Vanilla, Ivory, white gell Pen, Cool Grey 2 (Glasses)
Skin: Saffron, Vanilla, Blush

Glass glaze was added to the glasses and the apple.

I hope you lke it!

Be safe, Stay Home and Craft Happy!

Coffee anyone?

Hey crafty friends, Sandra with you today having a cool coffee card to show! I think I didn´t already mention that I am a totally coffee addict and really love anything to do with coffee.

So I decided to grab Avery with her big cup of coffee and have fun creating a coffee themed card.

By the use of kraftpaper and brown tones the card seems to be really warm and soft and makes me think about coffee even more.

You Make Me Smile by Ildi

Hello dear crafty friends, it's Ildi here with a spring themed scene card. Can't deny that I'm fond of mushroom houses, gnomes and fairies so no wonder I picked some super cute images from the Gnome set to create my card for today's blog post. With all the small elements this is one of the most versatile set by the Paper Nest Dolls. To finish my project I tried recreate and somewhat change a story book background by Sandy Allnock.

Thank you for stopping by, wishing you happy and relaxing create!
Hugs,
Ildi
