My Happy Easter Tag

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Laurie here! Who’s ready for Easter? There is always time for one last Easter tag! So, I am sharing My Happy Easter Tag as my Design Team Inspiration for Paper Nest Dolls using Egg Coloring Lulu

The Details of My Happy Easter Tag

I coloured this cutie with my Copic markers in Easter colours to match my Easter paper and card stock.

For my tag, I decided to use several Easter dies including a pink Easter Egg and the reverse Happy Easter words. I also added a purple floral border behind Lulu to make her pop and give some visual interest behind her. I used paper snips to trim the edges of the border piece to fit my round corners of my tag.

Next, I went with a Polka Dot Tulle ribbon since it reminded me of Easter tulle. The Happy Easter ribbon in purple was a perfect colour for the theme of my card! I used some Bermuda Bay Baker’s Twine to tie this all together.

Finally, to add some sparkle, I used Star Dust Stickles on Lulu’s heart on her smock and Wink of Stella on her egg. As well, a scattering of Glossy Dots that matched my colour scheme were placed around the sentiment.

My Hoppy Easter Card

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Laurie here! I am sharing My Hoppy Easter Card as my Design Team Inspiration Card for Paper Nest Dolls using Bunny Wagon

The Details of My Card

I coloured this cutie with my Copic markers in bright Easter colours to match my Easter paper.

For my card, I decided to create several flags using the different papers in varying sizes at the top left and bottom right. I used my punch to create my flags in the different widths.

The white background already had a texture to it, but I used a ruler and a multi liner to draw lines along the edges to add even more interest.

To highlight my focal point, I added a stitched circle in pink behind the Bunny Wagon.

The sentiment was stamped, and die cut with a stitched banner die which was cut off at the edge to match the other flags.

Star Dust Stickles was added to the heart on her dress. The only other embellishment was a scattering of sequins.

Avery with Watering Can & Bird House by Noelene

Hello Crafty Friends, Noelene here today with some D.T. inspiration for the Paper Nest Dolls

Autumn has started here in Australia but it is the beginning of Spring in some parts of the world. I am already dreaming of the warmer months & my favourite season of the year, where the flowers are starting to bloom & I get to play in my garden patch.

For todays card I have combined 2 different images together to create a Spring themed scene. I have used Avery with Watering Can & Bird House. I have created a 5"x7" base & shaded the background of my image. I kept it fairly simple & only added sprinkle to embellish as this card was very colourful.

Copics:
Clothes: RV 02, RV04, RV06, Y13, Y15, Y18
Flowers: RV02, RV04, RV06, G02, G09

My Easter Basket Using Bunny Emma

My Easter Basket

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Laurie here! I am sharing My Easter Basket using Bunny Emma by Paper Nest Dolls for my Design Team Inspiration Project. Since Easter is this weekend, I thought an Easter basket would be fun with this cutie!

The Details of My Basket

For my basket, I picked out this pretty paper in soft Easter colours of pinks and purples. From that I pulled my Copic colour palette to colour Bunny Emma. The basket is really a purse die, but by using one handle instead of two, it transforms into a basket! I stamped the sentiment onto the cute, stitched pocket and added a die cut button from the paper.

Of course, I just had to decorate the back of the basket with another pocket and button. The pink is from the other side of the pretty floral paper. So, it all goes together beautifully. The finishing touch are a few matching ribbons to balance out Bunny Emma.

All that is left is to fill your basket with Easter grass and chocolates!

Bunny Kisses and Easter Wishes

Hi PND Fans! It's Betty here today. Easter will be here in two weeks! There's still time to make a quick and cute card to send to your family and friends using this digital stamp from Paper Nest Dolls called Bunny Wagon. Add your own sentiment and you have the perfect Easter card. Change the sentiment and you can use this stamp for birthday, happy spring, thank you and friendship cards.

I colored the stamp using Copic markers then use a couple of Prismacolor pencils to add some fur texture to the bunny ears.

Copic markers & Prismacolor pencils used:
Hair: E59, E57, E55, E50
Skin: R56, E11, E21, E00, E000
Pink: G40, RV52, R81, RV00; Prismacolors: PC928, PC929
Green: G82, G40, YG11
Gray Bunnies: W3, W1, W0, W00
Gray Wagon: T7, T5, T3, T1, T0
Brown Wagon: E35, E33, E31
Ground: C3, C1

After coloring, I trimmed the paper to fit an A2 size card. I added a pink cardstock mat under the card front. I created the sentiment using MS-Word, printed it and trimmed it to size and added the matching pink cardstock mat.

This card is easy to make and great for those last-minute Easter cards to send!
Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week! ~Betty~
